Waupun Fine Arts Scholarship
The Waupun fine arts group is dedicated to supporting all areas of the arts. Our arts council will award a scholarship to a deserving high school student each year in the amount of $1000. All seniors in good standing in the Waupun school district may apply. Qualified applicants must plan to pursue a college degree in the arts in the area of Visual arts, Creative writing, Music, Theatrical arts, or Dance.
Application Deadline is March 1st of each year.
Proof of enrollment in post-secondary education is required before funds are paid out.
How to Apply
All applicants must include the following for their application to be considered.
- A resume of artistic work, classes and awards. Be sure to include the title of your work, your role in the work [if applicable] the date the work was completed and what organization you were working with [if applicable] Attach below.
- An essay up to 750 words discussing what the arts have meant to you. Attach below.
- One recommendation from a teacher or coach in the artistic area for which you’d like to be considered. Attach below.
- Examples or small portfolio demonstrating your best work. These examples may be digital pictures, examples of writing, or video/audio recordings. Attach below.
- The form below to be filled out completely.
